In order to cultivate the eighth grade students' enthusiasm for learning and their love for science, comprehensively improve their scientific and technological quality, on the afternoon of 11th December, the physics group successfully held the ‘Approaching Scientists’ competition in the lecture hall of the west campus. Under the meticulous preparation of the students, they explained the main achievements of the scientists in their respective fields and the anecdotes of the scientists in the research process in their own different forms. In addition, by understanding that the scientists were diligent in research, willing to explore, and not afraid of setbacks or failures, students were greatly inspired, thus benefiting a lot.
Overall, after intense competition, under the joint efforts of the physics group, the first, second and third prizes were awarded respectively.
